Leeds have offered Charlie Taylor a new two-year contract and released six players as Garry Monk gets his summer plans under way.
Taylor, who is out of contract in the summer, has reportedly attracted interest from Premier League clubs and was labelled as "naive" by Monk after refusing to play against Wigan earlier this month.
Should he leave when his current deal expires, Leeds would be entitled to a compensation fee because he is under the age of 24 and Tony Pulis has already said West Brom would not sign the 23-year-old if the matter goes to a tribunal.
Elsewhere, Pablo Hernandez's contract has been automatically renewed for another season but six players, including Jordan Botaka and Ross Turnbull, have been released.
"We are delighted to announce that Pablo Hernandez's contract has been automatically renewed for another season due to the amount of games he featured in during the 2016/17 campaign," the club said while releasing their retained list.
"The club can also confirm that Charlie Taylor has been offered a new two-year contract. In line with EFL regulations, he now has one month from [Wednesday's] date to accept."
Alex Purver, Michael Taylor, Jack Vann and Billy Whitehouse will also leave Elland Road when their contracts expire later this summer.
Leeds also have a number of players at the club whose loan deals are set to expire, with Kyle Bartley, Modou Barrow, Matt Grimes, Alfonso Pedraza and Hadi Sacko now due to return to their parent clubs.
New one-year deals have been offered to Eoghan Stokes and Tom Pearce and the club have also exercised their option to extend deals for Conor Shaughnessy and Romario Vieira.
