Scans confirm knee injury

Notts County's Adam Tann is set to be sidelined for three months because of a knee injury. Tann sustained the injury during Saturday's 1-1 draw with Macclesfield. The 26-year-old was forced to be stretchered off following the dangerous tackle by Macclesfield's Gareth Evans which saw him red carded. Magpies boss Ian McParland has confirmed Tann suffered medial ligament damage to his knee. "Adam had an X-ray on Saturday night and that showed medial ligament damage to his knee - and fortunately no break to his leg," McParland told the club's official website. "That is going to keep him out for a couple of months, and he has been for an MRI scan this morning so we could get the full extent of the injury - and that confirmed the injury and he will be out for around three months. "It is a huge blow for us though, and for Adam as well. "
