Warnock delighted to bring in midfielder on free transfer

Neil Warnock has expressed his delight after Queens Park Rangers confirmed the signing of Norway international Petter Vaagan Moen. The midfielder has agreed a two-and-a-half-year contract to join the Championship leaders on a free transfer from SK Brann. He has won seven caps for Norway and has been a long-term target for Warnock, who is looking to maintain his team's momentum from the first half of the season. Vaagan Moen will be eligible to play once international clearance has been received and Warnock is looking forward to unleashing the 26-year-old on English football.

Tenacious

"He's a player I watched a lot of last season and I'm delighted we've been able to bring him to the football club," Warnock told the club's official website. "He's a left-footed midfielder, who can play anywhere in the middle third of the pitch. "He's got a fine goalscoring record for a midfield player. He's tenacious, an English type midfielder if you like, and he's fitted in really well since he's been training with us. "He's got all the attributes to adapt to the English game and we just felt we needed another left-footed player in the squad to give us that balance that you need at this level."
