Brentford have opened contract talks with striker Lewis Grabban, while defender Ryan Blake has been handed a new deal .

Despite still not having a manager in place following the decision to rule temporary boss Nicky Forster out of the running for the permanent job, the Bees are pressing ahead with their squad building for next season. Grabban scored four goals in 12 starts after moving back to Griffin Park on a short-term deal from Millwall in January. Rookie defender Blake has been given a one-year contract, full-back Stephen Wright has been released and out-of-contract midfielder David Hunt has completed his move to newly-promoted Crawley.
