Hoops youngster will spend rest of season at Rugby Park

Teenage Celtic defender Lewis Toshney has joined Scottish Premier League rivals Kilmarnock on loan until the end of the season. The 19-year-old, who made his first-team debut against Aberdeen 12 months ago, has been a regular starter for the Parkhead club's Development Squad this season in central defence or at right-back. Toshney joined the Celtic youth academy at the age of 12 and played an integral role in the Hoops U19s' double success last season. His move to Rugby Park will allow him to gain further experience in the Scottish Premier League under the guidance of Killie manager Kenny Shiels.
