Wycombe have agreed a new deal with Matt Bloomfield as the midfielder prepares for his testimonial.

The 30-year-old, who arrived from Ipswich back in 2003, has signed a new two-year contract to remain at Adams Park until 2016 ahead of his testimonial against Chelsea next month. "It's been a privilege to play for Wycombe Wanderers since the first day I walked through the door and that's never changed, so I'm delighted to be able to pull on the shirt for another two years," Bloomfield told the club's official website. "I really feel I'm coming into the best years of my career and have so much to offer on and off the pitch "I'm really looking forward to getting stuck into the new season and giving everything I've got once again. "Even after all these years, the club still ticks all the right boxes for me - I have so much respect for the manager, I have a great rapport with the fans and it's such a special place for me to play my football."
