Alex McLeish has left Egyptian side Zamalek with immediate effect after just 65 days in charge of the Egyptian club.
The former Hibernian, Rangers, Birmingham, Aston Villa and Scotland boss is the fifth manager this season to lose his job at the Cairo club.
McLeish guided Zamalek to the African Champions League quarter-finals and won six of his ten games in charge.
However, his assistants were sacked at the weekend and McLeish has now been relieved of his coaching duties.
The 57-year-old replaced former Tottenham and Zamalek striker Mido, who was sacked twice this season by club president Mortada Mansour.
