Paris Saint-Germain are set to announce the signing of Julian Draxler from Wolfsburg, ending any hopes Arsenal and Liverpool had of signing the Germany international.
Sky Sports News HQ understands negotiations will be concluded on Friday morning, with a source saying it is "99 per cent certain to happen today."
The German international will join PSG in January for a fee of around £38m although the deal could rise to £41m on appearances.
Our colleagues in Germany believe the deal will keep him at PSG until 2021.
We understand Arsenal and more recently Liverpool were interested in signing Draxler. However interest cooled when it became apparent he was heading for Ligue 1.
Meanwhile, Chelsea have agreed to sell Oscar to Chinese club Shanghai SIPG for a fee of around £60m, with the Brazilian becoming the latest big-name star to make the move to the Far East.
