Manchester City target Jorginho has been left out of Napoli’s pre-season training camp, as both clubs continue talks over the midfielder.
The Italy international was not included in Carlo Ancelotti's 23-man squad list in Northern Italy, increasing the prospect of a move to the Premier League champions being completed.
Napoli reportedly value the player, who still has two years left on his contract, at around £53m and City have already seen a £44m bid for the Brazil-born player rebuffed during the summer transfer window.
Jorginho made 37 appearances for Napoli last season, scoring three goals, including one against City in the Champions League in November.
Meanwhile, Real Betis midfielder Fabian Ruiz - seen as Jorginho's replacement - will have a medical with Napoli after a deal was agreed, according to Sky in Italy.
