Tom Lawrence will be available for Derby's play-off semi-final against Leeds after the FA decided not to charge him over alleged diving, Sky Sports News understands.
Lawrence will face no action from the FA following Sunday's 3-1 win against West Brom, in which he went down in the box under a challenge from Kyle Bartley on 73 minutes and was awarded a penalty.
The FA was waiting to review the referee's report from the match before deciding whether or not to retrospectively charge the striker for "successful deception of a match official".
Frank Lampard's side sealed sixth place in the table with the victory, landing the Sky Bet Championship's final play-off place.
But Lawrence could have been watching the semi-finals from the stands if he had been charged and subsequently found guilty.
West Brom's Dwight Gayle was retrospectively banned for two matches earlier this season for diving to win a late penalty in the draw at Nottingham Forest.
