Black Cats and Cottagers keen on Iceland international
Skysports.com understands Sunderland and Fulham target Solvi Ottesen would be interested in a move to England.
Steve Bruce and Roy Hodgson have been credited with an interest in the Iceland international after reportedly sending scouts to watch him in action.
Ottesen is currently plying his trade in Denmark with Sonderjyske and his performances have attracted interest from a host of clubs across Europe.
The 25-year-old's agent, Gulli Tomasson, has admitted the central defender is in demand, but that his top priority would be to play in England.
Ambitious
"There are a lot of clubs watching Solvi as he has been playing really well," Tomasson told skysports.com.
"I have heard about Sunderland and Fulham, but it is just speculation so far.
"Solvi is highly ambitious and of course he would be interested in playing in the Premier League in England.
"There have been some offers for him and we will see what happens in January."
