Defender making good progress with knee injury

Liverpool boss Rafa Benitez insists Glen Johnson is making good progress from his knee injury. Johnson suffered a knee ligament problem during his side's 1-0 win over Aston Villa at the end of December. Reports have suggested that the injury could sideline Johnson for up to three months, with Liverpool initially suggesting the England right-back would be back in action in a month. Benitez is refusing to put a timescale on the former Chelsea and Portsmouth star's return to action, but is happy with his recovery to date. "I was watching him yesterday and he seems okay," said Benitez. "It's a question of time. He's progressing but we have to wait."
