Lahm and Schweinsteiger going nowhere say German outfit

Bayern Munich insist star pair Philipp Lahm and Bastian Schweinsteiger are not for sale. Captain Lahm and vice-captain Schweinsteiger have both been linked with moves away from the Allianz Arena after a number of eye-catching performances. Premier League champions Chelsea are reportedly preparing a big-money offer for Schweinsteiger, as they see the 25-year-old as an ideal replacement for the outgoing Michael Ballack. Meanwhile, Lahm, 26, has been the subject of constant transfer speculation in recent years. Both impressed in Germany's opening game in this summer's World Cup, which ended in a 4-0 win over Australia, but Bayern say they are going nowhere. Director sport Christian Nerlinger told Kicker: "Lahm and Schweinsteiger are our crown jewels. They are not for sale." Both players' contracts are up in 2012, and the German champions will be keen to secure them on new deals.
