Cottagers midfielder considering leaving the club

Midfielder Bjorn Helge Riise admits he is getting restless sitting on the bench at Fulham. Despite the 27-year-old setting his sights on a regular place in the Cottagers line-up at the start of the season, he has failed to make an impact under manager Mark Hughes. And now the Norwegian, who signed from Lillestrom, is considering leaving the club if he fails to win a regular place soon. The younger brother of former Liverpool star John Arne Riise claims that if he does not play any part during the busy Christmas period, he will have no other option other than request a meeting with Hughes. He told Sunnmoersposten: "I am here to play and every time I talk to the manager Mark Hughes he praises me and asks me to have a little patience. "But in case I don't get to play during our Christmas matches, I will ask for a new meeting with Hughes. "I cannot continue like this."
