Premier League: Newcastle United's Siem de Jong frustrated by injury lay-off

Newcastle United midfielder Siem de Jong admits he is unsure when he will back to full fitness.
After joining the Magpies in the summer from Dutch side Ajax, the 25-year-old tore a tendon in his thigh just three games into the season which initially ruled him out until January.
Having been out for four weeks now, de Jong says he’s frustrated that he cannot help his side move away from the Premier League relegation zone, with Newcastle still seeking their first league win.
“It is difficult for me to say when I will be fit again,” he told Ajax’s official website.
“The fact I have been made vice-captain makes it even more annoying.
“It’s a bothersome injury. I want to help the team and I’m unable to do so.”
