Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Paul Pogba share a moment

Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Paul Pogba had an amusing exchange after Manchester United's win over Southampton on Friday.

Ibrahimovic scored twice as United secured a comfortable 2-0 victory in the first Friday Night Football of the season.

But the forward could have potentially had a hat-trick if Pogba had passed to him late in the game, rather than go for goal himself.

Speaking afterwards to Sky Sports reporter Geoff Shreeves, man-of-the-match Ibrahimovic joked: "Pass the ball, you have to pass. Next time you pass!"

Pogba was making his first start since completing his £89m return to Manchester United from Juventus.

The France midfielder played the full 90 minutes and earned the praise of United legend Ryan Giggs, who said on FNF: "He could be a Roy Keane, Bryan Robson or Steven Gerrard, someone who can do everything.

"If he keeps playing like that, like I said the price tag won't be mentioned."
