Manchester United defender Timothy Fosu-Mensah is eager to establish himself at the highest level this season.
The 20-year-old, who has been capped three times by the Netherlands, spent last season on loan with Crystal Palace, making 24 appearances.
But the versatile defender is due to return to United next season and will be hoping to prove he belongs at Old Trafford when the squad fly out to the United States in July for their pre-season tour.
Fosu-Mensah will face increased competition from new United signing Diogo Dalot, who joined from Porto for £19m, but he is confident he has the ability to play on the biggest stages.
"I do not want to hear that I am young and that my time is still coming, I want to reach the top as quickly as possible, that's me," he is quoted as saying by the Manchester Evening News.
"The top is World Cup, European Championship, Champions League final, which is the top for me, winning prizes.
"I was close to the Dutch national team when I was at United, but I did not play anymore.
"From August 2017 to May 2018 I was leased to Crystal Palace, I think that was a good choice. I can also play for Oranje [the Dutch national team]."
