Toffees chief ready to sign up talented youngsters

Everton boss David Moyes has shrugged off rumours that he will have to sell his emerging young talent as he aims to build a team for the future. Moyes has been given the all-clear to extend the contracts of a number of young first-team players, including versatile midfield starlet Jack Rodwell, with a host of Premier League clubs reportedly chasing his signature. The former Preston manager has asked his current club to give improved terms in the summer to Rodwell, Seamus Coleman and Dan Gosling and is confident that they will extend their deals. Moyes told the Daily Mirror: "I don't think for any reason I'll lose any of the squad. I am confident we'll keep the squad together. "There's no need for a big overhaul in the summer. "We'd always like to add a couple of players if we can do so, but the important thing we've had is the stability."
