UEFA has charged Benfica after fireworks were set off during the Champions League match against Manchester United at Old Trafford.
The Portuguese club's supporters have incurred the wrath of European football's governing body for incidents during the October 31 match.
The case will be dealt with by the UEFA control, ethics and disciplinary body on November 16.
Last month, Basel were fined 12,000 euros after their fans let off fireworks before their Champions League opener at Old Trafford in September.
St Etienne were fined 50,000 euros in March after their fans set off fireworks, in addition to charges for throwing objects and the improper conduct of supporters, in their Europa League last-32 clash at Old Trafford.
United are on the verge of reaching the Champions League round of 16 for the first time in four years after winning the game 2-0.
United, last season's Europa League winners, have won all four of their Group A matches and need just a point from their remaining two games to progress.
