Ronaldo admits diving

Cristiano Ronaldo has admitted to diving in his debut season in The Premiership.

Manchester United winger Cristiano Ronaldo has admitted to diving in his debut season in The Premiership.

The Portugal international received criticism for his antics last season, an aspect of his game he has curbed this time around.

Ronaldo believes he has adapted to the English game in his second campaign, culminating in praise from manager Sir Alex Ferguson.

"Perhaps it's true if the manager says I'm a better player this season because I don't play-act as much," Ronaldo said.

"Football in this country is more physical than it is in Portugal, but now I'm in my second season I know the way things are.

"I've adapted and I'm a superior player to when I arrived. I think things will continue to improve naturally."
