United boss looking forward to impact from second twin

Sir Alex Ferguson has high hopes that Fabio Da Sliva will make as big an impact on the first-team as his twin brother Rafael. The 18-year-olds arrived in the summer from Fluminese and right-back Rafael is already making an impression in the first-team squad. He fired home his first goal for the club in the 2-1 loss to Arsenal last weekend and already looks to be putting Gary Neville and Wes Brown under high pressure for a first-team spot. Fabio, a left-back, has seen his progress hampered by a shoulder operation which has meant he has been sat on the sidelines as his brother has captured the headlines. "When a guy turns the corner you cannot do anything about it," said Ferguson of Rafael. "I feel the boy has something special. "He has such character, and such talent, and great courage. He's got that Brazilian mentality where he wants to get on the ball all the time." But Ferguson admits that he is fully confident Fabio will soon produce the goods too. "I have absolutely no doubt at all that he will do the same for us as Rafael," added Ferguson.
