Adebayor and Shevchenko interest ends
AC Milan have claimed that their summer spending is now over following the signing of Ronaldinho from Barcelona.
The Serie A club had expressed an interest in Arsenal striker Emmanuel Adebayor, while Chelsea forward Andrei Shevchenko remains a firm favourite of everyone at the San Siro given his previous exploits for the club.
Shevchenko's Stamford Bridge team-mate Didier Drogba was also linked with Milan, but should he leave the Blues - who do not want to sell - a switch to Inter where Jose Mourinho is now at the helm appears more likely.

Milan had previously stated that they would only sign one player this summer, and following the arrival of Brazilian playmaker Ronaldinho, they have reaffirmed that position.
Vice-president Adriano Galliani told a news conference: "The market for Milan is closed with Ronaldinho.
"As far as arrivals are concerned, we are finished, absolutely."
