Chelsea midfielder confirms Fluminense link
Chelsea midfielder Deco has admitted he could be set for a summer switch to his native Brazil with Fluminense.
The talented playmaker, who was born in South America but represents Portugal at international level, has not been a regular under Carlo Ancelotti this season.
The 32-year-old joined the Blues in an £8million deal from Barcelona under former boss Luiz Felipe Scolari in the summer of 2008.
But he has started just 31 Premier League games during his two seasons in England and could now be set to move on.
The former Porto ace, who still has one year remaining on his current deal with Chelsea, was speaking in Brazil on the second anniversary of his Deco20 Institute for children.
He said: "There's a strong possibility (of a move to Fluminense) but at the moment I can't confirm anything because I have a contract with Chelsea.
"I'm only going to decide after the World Cup.
"I'm not coming (to Brazil) to end my career. I'm coming to play. I believe I have a few more good years to play at a high level."
Deco will join up with the Portugal squad on Wednesday to prepare for their World Cup campaign in South Africa.
Portugal face a tough test to reach the knockout phase having been placed in Group G alongside Brazil, Ivory Coast and North Korea.
