Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain has improved under Jurgen Klopp, says Jamie Redknapp

Jamie Redknapp believes Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain has improved a great deal under Jurgen Klopp after the midfielder's man-of-the-match display in Liverpool's 4-0 win at Bournemouth.
Oxlade-Chamberlain was part of a Liverpool unit that was simply too fluid for the home side at the Vitality Stadium, as they picked up three points to move them back into the top four.
Goals from Philippe Coutinho, Dejan Lovren, Mohamed Salah and Roberto Firmino gave Liverpool the comprehensive victory.
But it was former Arsenal man Oxlade-Chamberlain who earned particular praise from Redknapp in the Nissan Super Sunday studio, believing the England international could become a permanent fixture in the Liverpool first team.
"There are vast improvements in his game," Redknapp said. "When he went to Arsenal, for years I felt he stood still.
"He picked up a lot of injuries, and I know what that is like, it can be demoralising, but even when he got fit, he didn't have that sharpness."What I am seeing here is that he is becoming a real player under Jurgen Klopp. He seems to be learning to play in that position he is in.
"The problem he is going to have now is that Adam Lallana is back to full fitness now. There is a lot of competition in that midfield, but if he carries on playing like that, then he is going to be hard to dislodge."
Graeme Souness was also complimentary of Oxlade-Chamberlain's progress and highlighted his versatility could have actually held him back.
"Part of his problem is that he is so good in so many places," Souness added. "He was used as a wing-back at Arsenal, but he wants to be used more centrally.
"Get him used to his surroundings, and the players he is playing with, and there is a real player in there for me."
