Liverpool are adamant they want around £12.75m (€15m) to sell Xherdan Shaqiri this summer.

Former Bayern Munich forward Shaqiri, who was signed from Stoke in 2018 for £13m, has two years left on his contract at Anfield.

Sevilla, Villarreal and Napoli have all been linked with a move for the Swiss international, who looks certain to move on in this transfer window.

Shaqiri reported for pre-season training last week after his break following his Euro 2020 campaign with Switzerland. They reached the quarter-finals after beating World Champions France in the previous round.

The Liverpool forward gave no indication he was on the move while speaking to club media this week, as he set big goals for Jurgen Klopp's side ahead of the new season.

The Transfer Show's Dharmesh Sheth report that Alisson has signed a new long-term contract which will keep him at Liverpool until the summer of 2027.

"I'm looking forward to the new season, and hopefully we're going to achieve what we want to achieve with this club," Shaqiri told Liverpool's club website.

"Our goal is always to win, to play for titles and to give 100 per cent on the pitch. Then we will see what happens. But, of course, we're going to try everything to win.

"Obviously we have a few players who were injured, they are back and they give us [an] extra boost for sure. The fans are going to be back again, I think, and that also gives us another boost to try to achieve our goals this season.

"We know how Anfield is when we have a game and how they push us through the game and how many times we won the games or we came back with the fans - something special. Of course, it's going to give us an extra boost."
