Teenager would like loan extension at father's club

Liverpool teenager Tom Ince wants his loan stay at Notts County to be extended until the end of the season. The tricky winger has done well in his eight appearances for the club of his father, Paul, since moving from Liverpool's reserves and youth setup in November. Ince, 18, is now due to return to Merseyside, but, having also scored two goals in his time with League One County, he is eager to continue his first-team development. "Week after week here at Notts County, I've been excited every minute and to be honest, I want to stay," he told County's official website. "But, at the moment, things change and I have to go back to Liverpool and show that this has been a massive benefit for me. "Whether it's the case that I stay here until the end of the season or I don't, that's football I'm afraid. "Hopefully in the next week or so I can sit down and see what my situation is, whether it's at Notts County or back at Liverpool."
