Reds up to seventh in league
Liverpool goalkeeper Jose Reina believes the club are set for an exciting period following back-to-back wins.
Victories over Wolves and Fulham have seen the Reds move up to seventh place in the Premier League, their highest placing this season.
Now sitting six points behind fifth-placed Tottenham, Reina is confident that Kenny Dalglish's men can push on without fear for the rest of this term.
Liverpool are set to face Stoke, Chelsea, Wigan and West Ham in February, a month that could go a long way towards salvaging their season.
"It's an exciting time and we still have half of the season remaining so there are a lot of points at stake," Reina told the club's official website
"We want to get as high as we possibly can in the league. It is really competitive and we have to keep this up.
"And we still have the Europa League to come [Liverpool face Sparta Prague in the last 32]."
Liverpool's run of good form will be halted temporarily as the Reds find themselves out of action at the weekend due to their early exit from the FA Cup.
The narrow defeat to Manchester United may have hurt at the time, yet it now gives Reina and his team-mates time to relax and prepare for the visit of Stoke to Anfield.
"We will enjoy some time with our family and then it is back to work to get ready for the next game," the keeper added.
"Our target is another three points against Stoke. It is always a tough game and it's always a nightmare to face the [Rory Delap] long throw which is one of their main strengths.
"But we will only worry about our own strengths and worry what we do."
