Jack Wilshere says it felt great to be back on the pitch during Arsenal's 0-0 draw with Sunderland but believes his side deserved to pick up all three poin

Jack Wilshere made his return to first-team football with Arsenal at Sunderland on Saturday, playing the final eight minutes of the 0-0 draw.

The England international replaced Mesut Ozil at the Stadium of Light in what was his first senior appearance for the Gunners since last season's FA Cup final against Aston Villa, 330 days ago.

Wilshere did, however, play twice for England in June of last year, but has missed all of the current campaign to date after undergoing surgery in September for a fractured left tibia suffered in pre-season training.
