Youssef Msakni claims to have been made aware of PSG's interest in his services, but has played down reports linking him with a move to Arsenal.

French giants keen on Tunisian playmaker

Youssef Msakni claims to have been made aware of Paris St Germain's interest in his services, but has played down reports linking him with a move to Arsenal. The Tunisia international is currently on the books of Esperance in his homeland, but is drawing plenty of admiring glances from Europe ahead of the summer transfer window. Having caught the eye domestically and internationally this season, it is expected to be only a matter of time before he heads for pastures new. PSG are understood to be leading the chase, with initial contact with Esperance having already been made. Msakni claims Lille are also in the running, but insists he is refusing to let the mounting transfer talk become a distraction.

Fantastic

"The club president here told me that PSG have shown an interest," he said. "He has not told me if there is an offer or how much the club want for me, so I am trying to stay calm. "I have also heard that Lille are keen, but again there is nothing concrete. "To go to Arsenal would be fantastic, but I have only read about that in the newspapers."
