Arsenal and Manchester City are interested in signing Everton's Idrissa Gueye, Sky Sports News understands.
Gueye handed in a transfer request in a bid to secure a move to Paris Saint-Germain, Sky Sports News reported earlier on Tuesday, with the 29-year-old having written to club officials pleading with them to allow him to join the French champions.
However, Everton have denied they have received an official transfer request from the Senegal international.
Sky Sports News revealed on Sunday that PSG had bid £21.5m for the midfielder. Everton insist Gueye is not for sale and they are expected to reject the offer.
Gueye was ruled out of their 1-0 win at Huddersfield on Tuesday with a minor injury, the club said, with manager Marco Silva insisting there had not been any fresh bids for the player following the match.
"He had a minor problem with his groin," Silva said. "We tried to be honest with all of you and with our fans. After the match I tried to find out if something new has happened because I expected your question and there's nothing new.
"He has a minor problem with his groin. No new offers and hopefully he can continue with us.
"I know the market is open until January 31 and it's always tough for us but about the new offer, £30m, nothing came true."
Elsewhere, Yerry Mina was another absentee from Tuesday night's game against Huddersfield after he sustained a foot injury during their 3-2 FA Cup loss to Millwall on Saturday.
The Colombian was replaced at half-time after he picked up the knock in the first half.
