Mousa Dembele is a doubt for Tottenham's trip to Watford on December 28 after picking up a knock in the Boxing Day win over Norwich.
The midfielder took a blow to the same ankle that he injured earlier this month, which kept him out of the home defeat to Newcastle, and was substituted for Nacer Chadli on 86 minutes at White Hart Lane.
Dembele had returned from the problem for the win at Southampton last weekend but after Spurs' 3-0 victory over the Canaries, Pochettino said: "We'll assess Dembele tomorrow and see if he is ready for Monday.
"It's a knock on the same ankle but we hope it's not a big issue."
The 28-year-old Dembele has been in superb form for Spurs this season, scoring three goals in 15 appearances.
Tottenham also had Ryan Mason back available for Saturday's match but he did not make the bench after returning from an injury last week.
Danny Rose also returned and did make the bench after illness but Alex Pritchard remains out with an ankle problem.
