Gary Neville believes "everything is right" at Tottenham after they boosted their title credentials with a 4-1 victory over Liverpool on Nissan Super Sunday.
Harry Kane scored twice and there were goals for Heung-Min Son and Dele Alli, with the victory moving Spurs to second behind Manchester United on goal difference.
Speaking on the Gary Neville podcast, the Sky Sports football expert praised Mauricio Pochettino and Daniel Levy for building a foundation for success at the club.
"The job that Pochettino is doing here and the team that he has is brilliant," Neville said.
"It's everything Tottenham were not during my football career - resilient, good to watch, robust defensively and with young players - English players too, which is always a bonus. Harry Winks was fantastic today and in the Bernabeu.
"Everything is right - it is a brilliant team, a brilliant coach, going into a new stadium and looking like they love playing with each other and with a connection to the fans.
"We have been quick over the years to criticise Daniel Levy and don't offer praise when things are going right but he's got a fantastic manager, a great youth set-up and now the youth players are being given a chance.
"People might say they don't pay as well as other sides but maybe he's running his club in a sustainable way and that's an achievement.
"I hope they can win the league because they play well enough to win the league but I think in the end it will be too much for them and that's my honest opinion."
Jamie Redknapp and Thierry Henry, speaking in the Sky Sports studio at Wembley, also reserved particular praise for Spurs striker Kane.
The striker brought his tally of Premier League goals to eight from nine appearances and Henry said: "I have played in games where I have been in the tunnel before and I'm looking at the opponents and thinking, 'You are in trouble'.
"You go on the field and you give them what they what - a little move and they back off - and then they are in even more trouble.
"I see that with Kane, he is looking at people and thinking, 'You are not going to do anything against me'."
Redknapp added: "Kane is not only a player of the highest quality, he is a team player. That is what sets him apart and that's why he is the difference."
