With the January transfer window fast approaching, there's already plenty of talk about who might be on the move around Europe.
Our friends at Football Whispers have scoured the continent to bring you all the latest transfer news and gossip from the European newspapers.
Andre Gomes is reportedly a Tottenham Hotspur target. The Portuguese has failed to make an impact at Barcelona and could move on in search of regular football. Spurs could be in pole position for the player's signature after Juventus' interest in the player cooled. (Mundo Deportivo)
Young Barcelona attacker Jose Arnaiz is attracting interest from top English clubs. The 22-year-old is reportedly now on the list of Manchester United targets, while Arsenal are also said to be keeping tabs on him. (Mundo Deportivo)
Barcelona defender Javier Mascherano has told the club that he intends to leave at the end of this season. The versatile Argentine, who joined from Liverpool, could move to the MLS for the next stage of his career. (Sport)
Ciro Immobile has laughed off recent speculation that he is a Chelsea transfer target, according to his agent. "We had a good laugh together over that (a rumoured move to China), including the Chelsea rumour," Marco Sommella stated. The striker has scored 17 goals in 14 games this season. Another Lazio player has also been subject to rumours recently. Sergej Milinkovic-Savic has been linked to Manchester City, Manchester United, Juventus and Paris Saint-Germain of late. However, the Italian side are said to be demanding at least €100million (£88.4m) for the midfielder. (Tuttomercatoweb)
It appears increasingly likely that Javier Pastore will leave Paris Saint-Germain in the January transfer window. The Argentine has struggled to find regular game time and could leave for Inter Milan. The deal could involve a swap, with Joao Mario moving in the other direction. (Tuttosport)
Arsenal's Europa League opponents Cologne have made a terrible start to the season. Having lost all three of their continental group stage games, they sit bottom of the Bundesliga without a win in nine. Fortunately, some good news has come in the form of contract renewals for club captain Konstantin Rausch and experienced midfielder Matthias Lehmann. (Kicker)
Marcelo Bielsa is seen as an inspiration for many of football's top coaches, including Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola and Atletico Madrid's Diego Simeone. Despite this, his position as Lille manager may be under threat after a poor start to the Ligue 1 campaign that sees his side sit second-bottom of the table.
However, he remains concentrated on his team's upcoming matches. "In the same way that we have not managed to win against supposedly inferior opponents, we can reverse this equation," he said. "The players want to take up the challenge and are optimistic, as before every game." (L'Equipe)
