Clemence eager to return

STEPHEN CLEMENCE is ready to put his injury hell behind him by turning out for Tottenham`s reserves on Tuesday.

The midfielder was restricted to just a handful of games last term after picking up a knee injury, and it has been a long road back to fitness for the 24-year-old.

The youngster feels there is finally light at the end of the tunnel, and is looking forward to facing West Ham`s second string on Tuesday.

He said: "I fell really good. I`ve done four of five days` training now and feel quite sharp."

Spurs have had a torrid time with injuries in the last couple of months, but manager Glenn Hoddle is finally seeing some of his talented squad climb off the treatment table and into the dressing room.
