Spurs full-back Pascal Chimbonda has apologised for his behaviour in the Carling Cup final.
But full-back says sorry to team-mates
Tottenham Hotspur full-back Pascal Chimbonda has apologised for his behaviour in the Carling Cup final.
Chimbonda reacted angrily to being substituted during the second half of Spurs' 2-1 extra-time win over Chelsea on Sunday.
With Spurs trailing to Didier Drogba's free-kick, Chimbonda was replaced by Tom Huddlestone just past the hour mark.
The France international headed straight down the tunnel upon being substituted, but has now apologised to his team-mates.
"I was annoyed at being taken off in such an important match," said Chimbonda in The Sun.
"But the manager has explained his reasons and I have apologised to my team-mates for my behaviour.
"They understand and everything is fine."
