Midfielder could face retrospective action from Uefa
Tottenham Hotspur manager Harry Redknapp is hopeful midfielder Tom Huddlestone will escape punishment after he appeared to elbow an opponent on Wednesday.
Huddlestone caught FC Twente's Marc Janko in the face with his arm in Spurs' 4-1 UEFA Champions League victory at White Hart Lane.
The 23-year-old was not reprimanded for the incident in midweek, but Uefa may now decide to take retrospective action after viewing video evidence.
Redknapp said: "I have looked at it. I'd be a liar if I sat here and said I hadn't it, wouldn't I? I know some managers do that.
"It's not like Tom, he's not at all an aggressive player, he's a fantastic footballer and a great guy.
"It looked like he caught him with an elbow. Whether he meant to do it, I'm not so sure.
"Hopefully, nothing will come of it and we can all move on."
