Pavlyuchenko eyes Russia move

Roman Pavlyuchenko has stated his intention to leave Tottenham in January for Russia, believing Harry Redknapp has lost faith in him. The striker claims he will put in a transfer request in December with hopes of leaving White Hart Lane for Anzhi Makhachkala, fearing he has no chance of featuring for Russia in Euro 2012 should he stay at Spurs. Pavlyuchenko has made just two Premier League appearances this season, coming off the bench against Manchester United and Newcastle but has been involved frequently in the Europa League campaign. The 29-year-old has expressed his frustration in recent weeks, as he struggles to battle into Spurs' starting XI but now claims the fight to be futile. "I have to do something in the transfer period. We're ahead of the European Championship. If I don't change (my club) then Euro 2012 will be played without me," he told "I was fighting and fighting but it was useless. Does Redknapp believe in me? Now I don't think so. "I do the training as good as the others. I do everything with 100 per cent effort. "I don't cry and I don't say that everybody is bad but I'm a good footballer. If I score in each game then I can play. But it's not a reality to score in each game. That's all. "Will I ask the club to sell me in December? Yes, it's 100 per cent. "I'd rather go back to Russia. If I sign to Anzhi or not - we shouldn't go too far. Maybe I'll have only one possibility and that will be Anzhi and nothing else." Pavlyuchenko also revealed former club Spartak Moscow have been in regular contact, showing their interest prior to every transfer window and has not ruled out a move should terms be agreed. He added: "Karpin (Valery Karpin, caretaker coach of Spartak Moscow) contacts me before each transfer period. "He says he wants to take me but when the transfer window closes our connection ends. "They keep saying they want me and my answer is - if they want me then negotiate with my club about the details. But finally they don't negotiate about me. That's the way they want me."
