Tottenham have dismissed reports they are willing to sell goalkeeper Hugo Lloris.
A national newspaper claimed on Monday that the north London club would be ready to sell the France No 1 should they receive an offer of at least £25m.
Lloris is the subject of interest from a host of clubs across Europe but the player has repeatedly spoken of a desire to stay at White Hart Lane for the long-term.
When contacted by Sky Sports, a Spurs spokesperson rubbished speculation linking him with a move away as “mischief making”.
“There is no substance to the reports. We have talented players and we expect this sort of thing,” he said.
Lloris joined Tottenham from Lyon for £8m in 2012 and has made over 100 appearances for the club.
The 28-year-old was made vice-captain by Mauricio Pochettino this season and he has kept eight clean sheets in 25 games in all competitions.
