Midfielder set for Ewood Park talks
Skysports.com understands Blackburn have opened talks with Stuttgart midfielder Yildiray Basturk about a move to Ewood Park.
Basturk has found himself out of favour at Stuttgart and Blackburn are ready to offer him a move to England.
Blackburn boss Sam Allardyce is keen to bolster his squad and he sees Basturk's creativity as a key addition to his side as they have struggled for goals this season.
Basturk's representatives are understood to have flown into England to discuss a deal and they hope to agree a short-term deal with Rovers.
Basturk has a good pedigree having helped former club Bayer Leverkusen reach the UEFA Champions League final and also being a key member of the Turkey side that finished third at the 2002 World Cup.
