Aleksandar Mitrovic has hinted that his future may lie at Fulham after helping them return to the Premier League after a four-year absence.
The Serbian striker started for Fulham in the play-off final against Aston Villa at Wembley on Saturday, which Fulham won 1-0 to join Wolves and Cardiff in the top flight next season.
Mitrovic joined Fulham on loan from Newcastle in January and was a key player in their push for promotion, scoring 12 goals in 20 games for the Cottagers.
Asked whether he saw himself remaining at Craven Cottage next season, Mitrovic said: "I don't know. Of course I am really happy here. I had the best three and a half, four months of my career.
"We will see what happens. I am still a Newcastle United player, I have two years left on my contract, so we will see.
"I want to enjoy now. I have one day to rest and then I have to work hard, and I will focus on that.
"I have people - my agent and people who speak with the clubs - and we will see what happens. I just want to enjoy the moment. I am really happy now."
Fulham have received plaudits for their attractive style of play in the Championship under Slavisa Jokanovic this campaign, and Mitrovic believes it will stand them in good stead in the Premier League.
"Of course Fulham will be successful in the Premier League for sure", insisted Mitrovic.
"I am delighted with the style we play, the players, with the staff. Every part.
"The fans really help a lot and I think I play some of the best football in my life, the last four months, and I really enjoyed it."
