Arsenal, West Ham and Newcastle have asked about taking midfielder Youri Tielemans on loan from Monaco, Sky Sports News understands.
Leicester were understood to be in talks with Monaco over a £20m deal for Tielemans, but manager Claude Puel played down the club's interest on Monday.
Arsenal are looking to bring in up to two new signings before Thursday's deadline, Unai Emery has confirmed.
The club are close to bringing in Denis Suarez on loan, according to Sky sources, but remain interested in Ivan Perisic and Idrissa Gueye.
Rafa Benitez revealed Newcastle are also still working on completing deals in the next two days.
It is understood the club have agreed a deal to sign Miguel Almiron for what is likely to be a club-record fee.
West Ham, meanwhile, are closing in on a deal to sign Celta Vigo striker Maxi Gomez, but are also monitoring Tielemans.
The Belgium midfielder joined Monaco from Anderlecht in the summer of 2017 and has gone on to make 65 appearances for the Ligue 1 side.
He has 19 caps for Belgium, and was part of the side that twice beat England on their way to finishing third in the 2018 World Cup.
