Sky Sports Power Rankings: Liverpool's Mohamed Salah top
Salah up against team-mate Sadio Mane, Eden Hazard and Raheem Sterling to claim stats-based season crown
Last Updated: 30/04/19 10:42am
Liverpool's Mohamed Salah is the most in-form player in the Premier League and is in a four-way race to retain his Power Rankings crown.
Salah helped Liverpool keep pace with Manchester City in the title race, scoring twice and assisting another during a 5-0 win against rock-bottom Huddersfield.
Last week's table topper, Ayoze Perez, slipped into runner-up spot after netting an early stunner in Newcastle's 1-1 draw at Brighton, before leaving the field 15 minutes later with a hip injury.
Fulham's Ryan Babel (No 4) scored the pick of the weekend's goals with a matchwinner against Cardiff, while stopper Sergio Rico (No 10) soared into the top 10 after making eight saves to keep a clean sheet.
Bernardo Silva (No 5) helped Manchester City restore their title advantage with a 1-0 win at Burnley - creating five chances and recording a team-topping number of crosses and tackles - while Ederson (No 8) kept his 19th shutout.
Diogo Jota (No 3) secured three points for Wolves against Watford, while Jamie Vardy (No 6) maintained his remarkable form under new boss Brendan Rodgers with two late goals in Leicester's 3-0 win over Arsenal.
Meanwhile, Tottenham playmaker Christian Eriksen (No 7) benefited from his winner against Brighton on Tuesday last week, while Everton's Lucas Digne (No 9) retained his top-10 standing after a goalless stalemate at Crystal Palace.
With just two games remaining, four candidates have emerged as frontrunners in the accumulative chart to claim this season's crown and join previous winners Riyad Mahrez (2015/16), Alexis Sanchez (2016/17) and Salah (2017/18).
Chelsea talisman Eden Hazard currently tops the season chart by the finest of margins, ahead of Salah - who is looking to win the stats-based award for a second campaign running.
But PFA Young Player of the Year and FWA winner Raheem Sterling is also in the hunt for top spot - as is Salah's team-mate Sadio Mane.
Other players that comprise the top 10, but are unlikely to leapfrog the leading quartet, include Paul Pogba, Sergio Aguero, Virgil van Dijk, Felipe Anderson, James Maddison and Gylfi Sigurdsson.
The Power Rankings methodology reflects a player's performance by awarding points for 34 different stats.
Below, we present the in-form chart based on performances over the past five Premier League matchdays (with greater weight placed on recent games), your club's top points scorer and the season accumulative chart.
The Sky Sports Power Rankings will be updated every week during the season, so be sure to keep an eye on the big movers...
