Burnley have expressed an interest in signing Manchester City goalkeeper Joe Hart, according to Sky sources.
Sean Dyche's options in goal are limited as both Nick Pope and Tom Heaton are injured with a week to go until the start of the Premier League campaign.
It is expected that Hart will discuss a potential move to Turf Moor over the next few days.
City boss Pep Guardiola refused to rule out Hart staying at the Etihad in July, but insisted the club were working hard to find a solution over his future.
Speaking on Friday, Guardiola was tight-lipped on Hart's future: "We will see what happens in the next days, we know the situation."
When asked whether he would let Hart leave on a free, he added: "I'm not the sporting director, I don't know what the deal is."
Hart, who won two Premier League titles with City, spent last season on loan at West Ham.
in 2016, Hart went on loan to Italian side Torino after falling down down the pecking order at the Etihad following Guardiola's arrival.
