Cash-fuelled City linked with Germany international
Stuttgart have insisted they have received no bids for Mario Gomez following reports linking Manchester City with the striker.
Last summer, even before the club were taken over by Abu Dhabi United Group, City were mooted as potential suitors for the 23-year-old attacker.
A move failed to materialise, but recent reports emanating from Germany have claimed they could renew their rumoured interest this transfer window.
However, Stuttgart media officer Oliver Schraft told Deutsche Presseagentur: "There is no bid on our table at the moment."
Director of football Horst Heldt added: "Last summer Manchester City was keen on Mario."
