Swedish goalkeeper rules out move to Fulham or Boro

Swedish goalkeeper Eddie Gustafsson has ruled out a move to the Premier League instead wishing to stay in Scandinavia. Gustafsson had been linked with a move to Fulham and Middlesbrough from current club FC Lyn Oslo in Norway. The 31-year-old was voted best goalkeeper in the Norwegian league last season, making him an attractive target for a host of European clubs. But now the shot-stopper has put an end to the speculation insisting he will stay local in a bid to establish himself in the Swedish national team. "There are a number of interested teams and I haven't ruled out a new deal with Lyn," he told Eurosport. "If there is to be a transfer, it will be within Scandinavia." Gustafsson is hoping to have deal in place by Christmas time.
