No loan for Boro star
Fulham failed with a bid to take Middlesbrough striker Jeremie Aliadiere on transfer deadline day, skysports.com understands.
Boro were ready to let the French forward leave the club, and a deal to take the former Arsenal man back to the capital was in place.
Aliadiere was ready to move to Craven Cottage on loan until January - with a view to a permanent deal.
However, Boro's failure to bring in target Rob Hulse means that a deal could not be finalised.
A Fulham spokesman later insisted that a deal for Aliadiere was 'not in place'.
