Steve Clarke, Nigel Pearson and Paul Tisdale are the three main candidates to become the new Fulham boss, according to Sky sources.
The club are looking for a replacement for Kit Symons who was sacked after the 5-2 defeat at home to Birmingham earlier this month.
Reading boss and former Chelsea full-back Clarke has emerged as a contender for the vacancy in west London although it remains unclear at this stage whether he can be lured to Fulham from one of their Championship rivals.
Pearson is also on the list and has been out of work since June following his departure from Leicester. The 52-year-old guided Leicester to promotion to the Premier League in 2014 before helping the club cement their top flight status last season.
Exeter's long-serving boss Tisdale is the third candidate in the frame for the vacant position at Craven Cottage. The 42-year-old has spent nine years in charge of the Grecians and is the first manager in their history to guide them to back-to-back promotions after leading them out of the Conference in 2008 and then up to League One in 2009.
