Cottagers keeper targeting Europa League
Fulham keeper Mark Schwarzer believes The Cottagers should maintain the belief they can secure a place in next season's UEFA Europa League.
The west Londoners ended their mini-blip in form with a win at Bolton last weekend followed by a sensational 2-0 victory over title-chasing Manchester United on Saturday at Craven Cottage.
Fulham were dangerously close to being relegated last term, but under Roy Hodgson the team have gone from strength to strength and Schwarzer believes everyone at the club should be proud of their efforts.
Their victory over The Red Devils sees them climb into eighth spot with seventh position in the league possibly securing European football next season depending on which teams reach the FA Cup final.
Credit to everyone
"When you think about what Fulham went through last season, to be where we are at this stage of the season is a credit to everyone at the club," said Schwarzer.
"All we want to try and do now is finish in the top half of the table and make it into a very, very good season for us. Anything's possible.
"I'm hoping for two of the top four teams to be in the FA Cup final so another place goes to the position in the league, and that opens it up for a lot of teams around us to vie for those extra positions for the Uefa Cup.
"If we can continue this sort of form in the upcoming games who knows what will happen."
