West Ham midfielder Moses Makasi joins Plymouth Argyle on loan

BAD TATZMANNSDORF, AUSTRIA - JULY 19: Moses Makasi in action during the West Ham United training session at Bad Tatzmannsdorf on July 19, 2016 in Bad Tatzm

West Ham midfielder Moses Makasi has joined Plymouth Argyle on loan for the remainder of the season.

Makasi has been part of West Ham's under-23 squad this season, making nine appearances and scoring once.

The 22-year-old is yet to make a first-team appearance for the Premier League side, but has been an unused substitute on five occasions this campaign.

He was part of the West Ham side that won the Premier League Cup after a two-legged victory over Hull City in 2016.

The midfielder will complete his move to the Sky Bet League One side, subject to Premier League approval.

Plymouth were forced to pull out of a deal to sign Conor Grant from Everton on loan because of player registration rules.

Grant spent time at Crewe earlier this season and also played once for the Toffees' Under-21s in the Checkatrade Trophy in August.
