Bradford City have completed the signing of Zesh Rehman on a two-year contract.
The centre-half enjoyed a successful loan spell at Valley Parade last season and has opted to make that move permanent despite attracting interest from clubs further up the league ladder.
The Pakistan international, who joins the Bantams from Queens Park Rangers, feels he has made the right choice and insists he has joined a side heading in the right direction.
"There were a couple of other clubs from a higher league (interested) but this just felt right," Rehman told the
Telegraph & Argus.
"My gut feeling told me to sign for Bradford and I've absolutely no regrets. From day one, I felt at home here.
"I'm fortunate to have played in all the divisions and I see this as the next step on my journey. I'm 25 now and still feel the best years are ahead of me."

City boss Stuart McCall is delighted to have landed Rehman and has revealed that his latest acquisition took a hefty pay cut to join the Bantams.
"We know the differential from what Zesh was getting paid last season and this season is huge. And I know he could have got more money from a club at a higher division," he said.
"When that's the case you're never sure you're going to get the player but Zesh has shown great commitment to us and he is desperate to do well here.
"He's settled into the place and enjoys everything about it. Zesh is certainly not signing for Bradford for the money - he wants to be a success here and it will be great to have him on board."
